On the morning of January 24, 2024, the Heshan Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware Technology Industrial Park project officially commenced construction, marking a significant milestone in the development of Heshan's plumbing and bathroom hardware industry. Located at the border of Zhishan Town in Heshan City and Shuikou Town in Kaiping City, the project utilizes rural collective land in Zhishan Town. With a total investment of 600 million yuan, the plan is to construct approximately 130,000 square meters of 2 to 3-story steel-structured industrial workshops, and it has already successfully attracted 20 enterprises to settle in.
Li Qinle, the President of the Heshan Plumbing and Bathroom Hardware Industry Association, stated that this project effectively revitalizes and utilizes rural collective land, providing new development space for enterprises. The park plans to install a 50,000 square meter photovoltaic power generation system, aiming to become a modern, large-scale green kitchen and bathroom hardware industrial park. This not only helps improve energy utilization efficiency but also aligns with the current concept of green development. It is estimated that upon completion and reaching full production capacity, the project will generate an annual output value of approximately 700 million yuan, injecting new vitality into the economic development of Heshan City.
